Our Process

 Our Process for Remodeling

We pride ourselves on giving our clients the best experience possible. This is why we have developed over the years this 7 Phase Process. It takes us from our very first interaction with a new client all the way to the end result.

Initial Meeting

(1-2 weeks)

A potential client will contact Hendricks Remodeling via our website or by phone to schedule a time for the Hendricks team to come look at the project they have in mind. An appointment can typically be scheduled within one to two weeks from initial contact. When reviewing the project our team will gather all the information needed to get started on a custom design.

Estimating

(2-3 weeks)

Upon approval of the newly created custom design, we will begin an estimate for the project. It may be necessary to bring in certain trade partners to review specific aspects of the project to provide an accurate quote for those areas. An estimate will then be created for the project and provided to the potential client.

Proposal

(Timeline to make decision)

The potential client now has the time to review the estimate/job proposal and make an informed decision about moving forward. If the potential client has questions or concerns, we are happy to schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss and review any details of the job proposal that need further clarification. When the potential client decides to accept the job proposal and move forward with the project a timeline to start the job will be determined. The timeframe will vary based on how many jobs we are currently working to complete, as well as those jobs that are awaiting a start date.

Pre-Construction

(4-8 weeks)

The new client, having made the decision to move forward will need to sign the remodeling agreement and visit the suggested vendors for final selection of finishes based on their own personal style. Hendricks Remodeling will then begin the task of ordering materials for the remodel. The length of time the client needs to choose finishes and the lead time of requested materials can impact the project timeline.

Remodeling

(4-16 weeks)

Smaller jobs will take less time to complete than full house remodels. The client will need to prepare the home for work to begin. This includes moving furniture, emptying closets, drawers, and cabinets. In the case of a full home remodel, the client will need to prepare to move out of the home entirely.

Final Touch Ups

(1-2 weeks)

As the remodel comes to completion, the Hendricks Remodel team and the client will take a final walkthrough to make note of any small items that need further attention to detail. The number of touchups will determine the length of Phase 6.

Moving In

(1-2 weeks)

The work and the final touches are complete! It is time now for the client to move back into their home or to simply enjoy a newly remodeled space. Should there be any lingering items which require address, rest assured that Hendricks Remodeling will ensure they are handled to your satisfaction.
